Course: EVENING CLASS EN-B2 (English)
Everyday language
Building on the knowledge you have already acquired, this course aims to widen your vocabulary and improve your ability to express yourself, offering a variety of exercises in a wide range of subject areas, including work, media, advertising, history and politics, town and country, as well as English as a world language.
Key grammar units are revised, consolidated and studied in greater depth (e.g. the passive form, comparative and superlative, prepositions, subordinate clauses, tenses) and new ones tackled (e.g. set combinations of verb and preposition, and verbs with prefixes).
You learn not only how to express yourself aptly and skilfully in a variety of real-life situations, but also the specific language of the workplace. You will also encounter the regional differences in usage between the great English-speaking countries. Finally, the course offers you a chance to extend your writing skills by composing personal and formal letters and e-mails, as well as inquiries and reports.

Level B2: Can understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialisation. Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
