You will speak about geography, the internet, the European Union, advertising and the launch of a new product. You will describe the economic situation of a country, understand detailed information about a town, and be able to describe different aspects of a place.
Building on the knowledge you have already acquired, you will further your knowledge on usage of the past tenses. You will speak about money and the stock market, and learn different ways of expressing a reason and a consequence. In conjunction with the theme of elections, you will learn how to formulate a wish or a doubt; and in a discussion about schooling and career paths you will learn how to talk about relations in time, for example by describing preceding, subsequent and concurrent actions. You will speak about criminal cases and be put in the position of expressing a requirement or possibility, as well as formulating your opinion about a film.
Together with other course participants, you will speak about the preparations for an evening meal and be instructed in how to write an invitation. You will also learn to write a formal letter, differentiate various vocal registers and use some familiar expressions.

Level B2: Can understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialisation. Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
